MONDAY!!!- My 35th Spring Season Starts.

Recommended Posts

Right 35 years already . And,I got a late Start in 1990 at age 30.  I never saw a Turkey anywhere in Orange County before 1990.

I will be down in North New Jersey. I am 15 Miles from Jersey.

The Long Wait is almost over! I will be able to hunt 6 straight days before New York Opens. My Scouting is basically  done.

I am hoping the North Jersey- Ghost Turkey Woods is a little more Noisy this year on Public.

Take The Multiple Use Area Challenge.

Seeing nothing but Tom's running around right now. Think the hens are already laying on eggs with all this warm weather. Haven't  heard any gobbling in a week. Sounds like it's going to be a quiet season.

I’m still seeing huge flocks, the birds are a bit behind around here.

I saw a few Turkey Tracks. Heard no Gobbling.  North Jersey has a poor Turkey Population.  It is a chance to get out before NY opens though. I got a North Jersey  Jake last Fall- so,I am hopeful.
