blackbeltbill
Right 35 years already . And,I got a late Start in 1990 at age 30. I never saw a Turkey anywhere in Orange County before 1990. I will be down in North New Jersey. I am 15 Miles from Jersey. The Long Wait is almost over! I will be able to hunt 6 straight days before New York Opens. My Scouting is basically done. I am hoping the North Jersey- Ghost Turkey Woods is a little more Noisy this year on Public. Mattypotpie8s, Lil zeek, Buckmaster7600 and 1 other 2 2 Take The Multiple Use Area Challenge. Lawdwaz
42nd Opening Day for me. IIRC I didn’t hunt opening day in 1981 but did kill a beauty the first weekend, Greenwood NY. 1982 was my first OD. Haven’t missed an opener yet. dmandoes, blackbeltbill, Mattypotpie8s and 2 others
lucky118
Seeing nothing but Tom's running around right now. Think the hens are already laying on eggs with all this warm weather. Haven't heard any gobbling in a week. Sounds like it's going to be a quiet season.

I’m still seeing huge flocks, the birds are a bit behind around here.

North Jersey has a poor Turkey Population. It is a chance to get out before NY opens though. I got a North Jersey Jake last Fall- so,I am hopeful. dmandoes 1 Take The Multiple Use Area Challenge.
