Dumb question but for bees wouldn’t the acreage you have be used by the bees for pollination / feeding? I doubt the bees stay on the acres you have the hive, and don’t people rotate the hives to different locales based on what’s in bloom/pollination timeframe?

Bees go up to 2 miles from the hive to get the best pollen and nectar sources. My bees stay in one spot all year. Commercial bee keepers move their hives and get paid by the farmers for crop pollination. Example is almonds. Or apple orchards.

wouldn’t be guy with long hair in a pony tail would it ?  Hair kind of grey

Fit looking guy, short hair average height and weight, mid 40s ?  . I never asked the name of the shop, he just walked to the beach, and we will either go there or the Strawberry Festival so I might not see him the rest of the day .

Cultivate wild mushrooms?

Has anyone tried this? I read about how you can get edible mushroom spores and you cut a tree and inoculate it with the spores right away, and that log can produce mushrooms for years. Seems like it would be fun to do!
