This one’s likely worth a pretty penny and I shouldn’t be handling it but I don’t give a crap about that (you can’t take it with you).  My wife’s friend, who is closing his antique shop, knows I like Civil war history so he gave it to her to give to me.

I’m about 3/4 of the way thru it and it’s pretty good so far.  The book is from the first printing and it rolled off the press 5 years before my great great grandfather built the old barns on our farm that I just finished dismantling.

The binding is still in very good shape (at least it was when I started it). I’ll probably finish on a plane  while flying home from the west coast later this week.

Lol, I figured but how many times can you read that same page. :P

Sometimes a few. Especially the debates. At times it simply amazes me how some can be so blind they can't see in front of them, more so on the political spectrum really. It's like a car wreck that you just can't not look. LOL

I get all my legion magazines and buck masters. I got lifetime on both so I just get them and throw them out without reading. Buckmaster is another money grab wont stop calling till you give up credit card. I do recall reading books sipping on whiskey or drinking beer. Last one was how full is your bucket by Tom Rath. It's time to start reading again
