Wolc123
I caught a decent sized northern pike and a couple nice smallmouth bass yesterday, on a brief run out on the St Lawrence, just a bit downstream of Alex bay. All went for a 1/4 oz bucktail jig, in 20-30 ft depth, near a mid river shoal. Those were nice, hard fighting diversions from the smaller (but slightly better eating) largemouth bass that we spent most of the last (3) days catching, mostly on spinnerbaits, in Goose bay. Larry
I fished Allen lake this weekend for bass for the first time. I didn't do well there I caught 4 bass they were all 8" or less. I've only have fished it for trout in the past. Next weekend I'm going to fish Sodus.

crappyice
Quick run to West End 2 jetty...mess of short fluke-closest to legal was 16 or so. Sea robins and what chef informed me is a Stargazer. Lost a good fluke at the rocks and had a few other good hook ups that I lost at the surface. Robhuntandfish and Versatile Hunter

Larry
I'm going to try Braddock bay Friday evening I haven't fished it in a while. I'll probably catch some pike and bass. But I'll also be looking for a duck hunting spot.
