crappyice
@The_Real_TCIII @Chef and I booked yesterday months ago to fish the West Branch. The WB was blown out, Tacks checked the Oquaga which was dark so we ended up starting at rhe Beaverkill. Tacks and Chef both hooked up at our first spot, then we jumped in Junction Pool on Chef's recommendation and I got 3 with a fatty rainbow on a eurorig Tacks tied for me. We tried one more stretch on the BK to no success so headed to the Callicoon Creek after a bite at the diner. Callicoon was chocolatey so that ended the day as a group. On my way home I stopped at the Neversink and was shocked to find rising fish in the pouring rain! Managed to take this sweet brown home for dinner tonight. Made the best of a poor weather day. Robhuntandfish
Opening day of walleye and 3 boats at the launch. Tells you how much rain we got. Lake is a mess of logs etc from the runoff I'm sure. treeguy 1 "it's pointless for humans to paint scenes of nature when they can go outside and stand in it"- Ron Swanson
